Cross was an arm grabber in defense when we first brought him over from union, his defense gradually improved to the point that both defensively and in attack he turned out to be a great centre, this is the reason union bought him back. I saw snippets of Cross's try scoring on T.V., playing union. I always hoped we could buy him back again cause I can't remember how long it's been since we had a centre with Ryan's abilities. The onlly down side to us signing his could be his age.

Cross was very good for us and a great finisher p, his defense was not as bad as people here make out.
