Talk about copping the refereein pineapple! As usual Benny's men have been immaculate but their opposition aren't getting the right calls... let alone any 50/50s.

First try should have been a penalty to the Raiders and up field 50.

The way they wrestle would have our penalty count 10-0 if we behaved like that.

Ther's been some very iffy calls to give Saints momentum... helps to make it look less damning.

This refereeing is becoming more of a joke as the season goes by. The refs have Harrigan's arrogance without the talent.

you are spot on about that KB, Cooper should have been penalised and possibly sent off (at least 10 in the bin) for trying to hold back Mccrone.

I also questioned the put down but can you imagine the lynching the Refs would get if they did not give that try, especally with the shocking calls from the refs !

Both of there first tries were forward passes. Boyd then does an obstruction and got away with it in which they later scored. Biggest thing was cooper grabbing McCrone without the ball and the ref was right there which would have sealed the game for the raiders with the kick!! Honestly amazing how much shit they get away with.

There is a definite biased towards the top teams from the refs and it is so blatant. Melbourne, Manly, Saints, they are allowed to hold players down for an extra second or two, whereas any perceived attempt to slow the play down when they are in possession is immediately penalised. Saints get away with 4-5 forward passes from dummy half every bloody game. Manly players are allowed to bully and intimidate the refs. Manly players are always running at refs when if they perceive a bad decision. They must have 14 captains. Melbourne could hang an opposition player from the goal posts and receive a penalty for that player being offside!

The NRL is a competition that has winners and losers not an ideal social experiment with a 4-4 penalty count and a scoreline that reads 18-18 at the end of each match.

Melbourne train so hard to get that dominance in the tackle. They do a lot of the work before they get the player on the ground..You should not be penalised for being the best at something..

And Manly just ooze confidence in everything they do..All the players believe they can win every game and they play tuff footy..

You're so right. Brett Morris trained so hard to pass that ball from row 8 in the Gf and not be actually over the sideline.
