I hate Souths SOOOOOO much BUT it's not often I enjoy seeing them win especially by beating the Saints in somewhat controversial circumstances. With 4 to go and Souths losing by 2, Sandow runs behind a team mate and knowing he would be penalised dives to the ground without being tackled and the refs gave neither to the amazement of the red V fans. Souths go on to score the winner. Good to see the Saints getting bad calls for a change. Obviously their best player, Archer, wasn't on.

Not defending Souffs, but the play was legit. The rule is you can't run behind one of your men in order to prevent a tackle from happening. Sandow actively went to ground, surrendering and making sure a tackle did happen, so the call was correct.

So your saying that voluntary tackles are not longer penalised? Someone forgot to tell me that one.
I did find it funy how he just dived to the ground as if he'd been shot by a sniper.

I think the referees are afraid to penalise that BUT I'm sure if we did it, they'd be fighting each other to blow the whistle the quickest.

It's a contradictory rule, a player must submit to a tackle and gain no advantage if an accidental obstruction occurs.....sounds rather voluntary, Sandow did the right thing.

guaranteed, if done by us, it would have been a penalty lol

Captain Michael Crocker credited the impact provided by the Souths interchange players, while the Herald was told the Rabbitohs had fired up after hearing St George Illawarra five-eighth Jamie Soward ''whooping it up''.

I've got no issue with the above sentiment. Trust sowie to whoop it up prematurely and well done to the vermin for beating the merge scum stain yesterday in controversial circumstances.

By the way, is anyone else sick of seeing those clips before Ch9 Friday night games where they show sowie whooping it up after the 2010 GF "win"? Pains me to this day seeing that crap.

                          LOL, so very true.
I was AMAZED to see another team get penalised for being offside at the kick off on Saturday night.

hahaha very funny!! Same goes for Sandow IMO- both premature ejaculators. Soward = Sandow = short man's syndrone - I don't know how some of these big guys stop themselves from doing them damage
