  • Wayne Bennett knows what he is doing, unfortunatley.

The loss of form of Saints is to be expected.
When the broncs have won the comp they have slumped prior to the semis and then found form in the first week of the finals once the weight and pressure of expectation had been lifted.

He is without doubt the best coach in the NRL by a country mile.
    barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

Difference is those Broncos sides were the best on paper and should have been winning, they were loaded with experience and talent.

This Dragons team is fairly ordinary and will go out in the second or third week of the finals, guarantee it.

At least they will be in the play offs.

Smith with all this talent should of done alot better this year.

All top coaches aim to win just 2 from 8 prior to the finals. The guy is a genius.

The weight and pressure of expectation never disappears at Saints regardless of how many games they drop.

It is fairly obvious I am taking the mickey out of Trew.

Last year the "genius" relaxed his players before the semis. They then had a week off after an easy game against a depleted Manly side, and ended up being underdone for the Tigers game. It was only some dodgy refereeing that helped the "genius" overcome his complacency.

I'll give him this, he is smart enough to know its the egos that have caused the slump.
It will show his genius if he can get them back

What does it matter? We're not playing St Cheat again this season and I doubt their performances will harm our prospects in any way seeing as we are out of contention.

He was right in the post match saying if they don't want it then there is not much he can do. The guy is the best coach going although it won't matter to some how well he does as there is always some kind of leg up or fortunate position he finds himself himself in that helps...

Would have him coach us in a heartbeat.
