Update:
Alex is still in Brisbane and the story doesn't get any better. Doctors can't operate at present as it is a complicated break and the swelling and bruise is immense. They'll have to wait until the swelling drops so they can reassess. Hopefully it is soon!

Hi everyone.

Yesterday I witnessed a kid so happy he couldn't help but squeeze out his best version of a smile that metal plates, rubber bands and wire would allow. Billy Gunn's unselfish support and assistance in making a tough time for Alex a little easier was realised yesterday when I presented him with a signed Tigers jersey. Alex was speechless!

I went around yesterday to see him after I got the jersey from the PO and I walked into his Black and Orange bedroom with a Tigers flag over the Tigers doona covered bed. I handed him the jersey and it was like Christmas for him. It was such a good moment that I'm trying my best to describe for you. His parents were over the moon, and were very appreciative of what was done for their boy.

Probably the best moment was when he spotted Benji's signature. I am sure that he was trying to scream in happiness but his jaw wouldn't allow him. His eyes did all the speaking for him as they were just looking over the jersey in amazement.

Honestly, I am so thankful of Billy Gunn's efforts. You are an absolute legend BG.
