Fantastic idea getting Owen Craigie to talk about this issue cause it is rife in league circles, especially the young guys. It's going to be difficult as gambling and it's sponsorship is entrenched in the bloody game, but it needs to be addressed as it's going to get some young hot shot thrown out of the game ala Tandy.
Personaly I think it's highly hypercritical of the NRL to take money from gambling companies through sponsorships. And allowing live betting is a massive error in judgement imo, one that will bite the game big time. I've seen what gambling can do, Cragie is right, it is a disease.
