Always had a lot of time for Alan Tongue both as a bloke and a footballer.
Not the most talented of footy players, but geez his passion and commitment for the Raiders more than made up for it.
Always gave 110% and often took the field broken and busted so not to let his team mates down.
And always a good personality to have at press conferences, one captain who could string a few sentences together.
Hopefully he's not lost to the game and the Raiders.
