Honestly, i think Phil Gould is a bit of a jerk for denying this, and in turn him and the Panthers sacking Griffin at this time of the year. I doubt even without Griffin that the Panthers will make it to the final with this unexpected move.

it does have Gus Gould written all over it. I feel sorry for Griffin. I mean, from what ive read, it seems as though Phil had his grubby, sweaty, fat hands all over this. Also, Phil Gould looks a lot like Jabba the Hut from Star Wars. Here is a comparison:

I’m flabbergasted by Gus’s audacity to think he can just poach a coach who’s doing well at his club with two years to run on his contract. Imagine the carry on if the Roosters tried to do that? Also Eddie’s old mate Paul Crawley basically saying, what’s the big deal if Ivan wants to coach his son. He really got on my nerves last night on 360. Again, what would Crawley say if the Roosters tried to pull off such a move? I bet his reaction would be quite different.

I really hope Cleary says no and Nathan joins the Tigpies instead.

I watched gus’ interview on the footy show
claims the reason they sacked grifffin was that the the panthers were poaching Cleary and he didn’t know but found out so he sacked griffin. What a load of feck. That’s like the third time he has vhanged the story. Just tell the truth
