I am going to go on the record to say just how wrong I was about a few predictions before this season...

1. Melbourne will not make the 8.

2. Cronulla will make the 8.

3. Easts will make the top 4. (*)

* My only consolation is that I always said Carney was only "one schooner away from disaster"..

Not a great record for 2011 from me..

- Titans, Eels and Panthers to miss out on the 8
- Melbourne to make top 4
Wrong:
- Knights and Dogs to battle for spoon
- Roosters to come 5th and win (lol)
- Sharks to make top 8
- Raiders to make top 4
Basically my top 8 was:

If $BW comes to the Roosters then we are well and truly doomed.

I want to see us stay away from signing name players unless we have a position that can not be covered by an up and comer. We need to give some of the young guys a chance to show us what they can do in FG - I mean the likes of Cordner, Moga, Tasi, Kennedy, Mose, Guerra, Takarangi, Aubusson, JWH, Friend, Arona, Evans, Rona, Mitchell, Cherrington....

We just don't need to waste money on players like Money Bill who will not deliver value for money and will most likely cost us a chunk of the above players along with causing a whole lot of heartache.
