  • Since when was SFS the Tigers home Ground?

Tim Sheens Whinging on radio that they got shafted last year because they played us
(Team 5) at our home ground the SFS and continued to whinge that they got shafted again this year because they have to play St George at ANZ Stadium instead of there home ground the SFS.
Contradiction, the guy is crazy im sure, they have Campbelltown,Leichardt and the SFS where they play 1 game, he may aswell add Bluetongue Stadium.
    I hope they lose.

They played as many home games at the SFS as they did last year. Not sure why it's more of a home ground his season to them? But I do think it should be up to them where they play... what's the point of finishing 4 if they don't even get that?

Yea i totally agree, say next year if Manly finish 2nd we finish 7th then the game would be at the SFS instead of Brookvale, i know where id rather play.
But if i was a Manly fan id be very annoyed, i think u deserve an advantage if it was Tigers vs Dragons or Eels vs Bulldogs then its hard because they would attract a massive crowd but it cant stay the same Imo.

        >>>>> >>>>> >>>>>

Since they started taking it over[with a 'sweetheart deal' at a much less hiring fee than we have to pay?]...and they now consider it theirs.

Soon they'll 'be' changing their name to the Wests-Easts Tigers?, setting up another leagues club in the Eastern Suburbs? [that'll make 4 for them...Campbelltown, Ashfield, Balmain plus Eastern Suburbs]...setting up their HQ next to ours at the SFS/ [at less rent?][or taking over ours and we getting moved on to somewhere else]?

When Manly have a ground that is suitable to play a semi final then they can have their advantage. It is a joke to think we would play semi finals at grounds like Brookvale

As opposed to us having our club in the Eastern Suburbs as well as one in Berkeley, and one in Kingwood and opening one in Narellan??

Wests made a huge error in bringing last years semi to our house. Geez I loved letting them know it, as they left...Some of them wanted to kill me....

Yes but our NRL team is not playing at or taking over Campbelltown Sports Ground and its facilities.

I think the government should help them out and the NRL to bring the ground up to standard.
As much as i dont like manly, its better for the game that teams get advantages to finish in the top 4 and stop having other teams playing at the SFS.

                  That's right.

We just want the mums and dads to put money in the pokie machines, and we want their kids to play footy for the Roosters.

Got something to do with not being able to buy more pokies for Bondi club?
NRL teams cost $10m a year?

I posted a link in the 'other Rugby League' section showing how Manly has lost $1m this year.

Kingswood affiliated with Easts in 1999, if ur a member of the club you wouldnt know Easts had anything to do with the club and they only have 1 training clinic there a year.
It has nothing to do with having kids play for the Roosters.

They should not be charged/paying a lower hiring fee than we do, if they still are.

AHAH i knew was for me, Well im from out West Syd the Kingswood is a great little club which doesnt attract many young kids at all.
Been down to a few of the Roosters clinics which they get a few kids down there most wearing there junior teams jerseys.
It would be hard to convince a kid to play for the Roosters because the Kingswood was affiliated with Easts and being in Penrith heartland unless your parents follow the Roosters i dont think they'd be swayed by the Kingswood.
