The NRL needs more Sunday (or even Saturday) afternoon games

I am very upset and angry. Looks like it will be a season full of Friday night games. I think we need more Sunday afternoon games.

Reasons why Friday nights (and Mondays nights) are bad times
1. The kids have to go to (in the case of Fridays) sport or (in the case of Monday nights) school the next day and are getting home as late as 11pm
2. Everyone is tired after work and on Mondays they need to go to work the next day

Reasons why Saturday nights are bad times:
1. Many parties/functions are held then
2. Some people have to go church the next day

Reasons why sunday afternoons are GOOD times:
1. It is more family friendly atmosphere
2. Easier to control hooligans because of the previous point
3. Less cold than what it would be during night games
I think there should also be Saturday afternoon games too. What do you think of that?
We only had 2 Sunday afternoon games this year and our last 6 games have all been on Friday nights. I thought the NRL wanted to get fans to games.

In conclusion, we need more afternoon games and less night games because afternoon games are safer, less cold and more convienient for everyone.

I picked Sunday's because we had sooo many Friday nights last year and I kept on getting sick with the flu no matter how much I rugged up.

sundays better because friday games or monday games are such a rush from people coming from far away to get there after school.
when you want to get to the game early get seats etc.

Saturday or Sunday afternoons are great for me. Even if I work a weekend overtime shift, I can still make it to a 3pm game. Friday/Monday night games I just can't make because I don't finish work till 9pm.

Looks like I won't be making many games again next season. I'll probably end up selling my 6 tickets (On the bench membership) like I did for 2008 season.

Do you remember the game v Manly last year where we smashed them on a Sunday afternoon but it was freezing and wet. Would have been even worse from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.

Saturday 5:30 games are the only ones I struggle with as I play soccer 3pm most weeks

If I lived in Sydney, the then it wouldn't really worry me....if you're a supporter then you'll always find a way to get there even though you may work next day, ie Monday night games.

I love Sunday afternoon games, there's nothing better than kicking back in the stands and watching the footy on a lazy afternoon.

Monday nights kill me, waiting all that time to see Easts play, kinda sux that. But I do like MNF, theres zippo to do on Mondays in the winter, it relieves the boredum.
