The NRL needs more Sunday (or even Saturday) afternoon games

I grew up with Sat and Sun arvo footy, it was great to get to live.

Remember these days its about TV ratings. More people watch TV at night.

Therefore dont hold your breath thinking things will change, especially while NewsRL and Ch9 have control.

I sent the NRL a letter about it (I don't know what I'm doing because they won't care)

Some extracts from it:.."The roosters have not played a game other than on a Friday night since I think mid August last year. And I usually have things on Friday nights and I get very upset when I can't attend a game because it is on a friday night"..."one sunday afternoon game I went to, Roosters v Manly, it was very cold and wet, would have been even worse from 7:30pm to 9:30pm than 3pm to 5pm"...Friday nights are also inconvienient because some people actually have lives and things to do on Saturday mornings eg take kids to sport and the kids have sport as early at 7:30am and they are getting home as late as 10:30pm or 11pm"...Saturday nights are alright because a majority of people have nothing to do the next day...Please make the roosters have more Sunday afternoon games or at least less Friday night games.

Well I tried my best what will they do, looks like I'll only be able to attend 2 matches this year (not counting the foundation cup)

Why doesn't Nine just either put the game on live or not show it at all on a Sunday night when they can put it on live

how is the nrl killing the afl then??

the afl offer more free to air games, and imo, at better times
the nrl show one game live on friday and charge us for the rest

ch 9 can get farked, i wont even watch our games live this season
i'll wait for the fox delay or watch it online
