Gerkin how have I ever given you the impression that I believe HK is a better place than Australia? Hong Kong is a polluted shithole populated by savages. Australia is one of the greatest places in the world and I miss it. A game of golf that would cost me $20 in Australia will cost over $200 here. The pollution is foul and the rudeness of the locals is neverending. I only get to watch one or two Roosters matches a year. Fortunately I am well employed, have a nice big apartment (rare here) overlooking the harbour, drive a car so I don't have to mix it with the local on public transport, have a cleaner, etc. I have two or three overseas holidays a year and get 3 months paid vacation each year and a nice cash bonus. I am here for the money dude. That is M-O-N-E-Y dude. I have three degrees and struggle to find suitable sustainable employment in Australia. However, I will never tell you that this place is better than Australia. Fark I would rather live in Mudgee.

his alcohol problem is just the surface, his real problems are below that.just staying off the drink without dealing with his deep seated problems will cause further duress for the guy. he needs professional help like a betty ford clinic that will help him deal with his problem // problems then his alcoholism.the management at easts should have recognised it.putting him in a pub in far nth qld was ridiculous.thats like trying to put a recovering heroin addict a job in an injecting room up the cross.the club handled it poorly in my opinion.
