Manly have been shocked by news that dual NRL premiership-winning coach Des Hasler will coach Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs from 2013.
...reports the Bulldogs upped their initial offer of $750,000 per year.

Manly in the past has thought nothing of buying other clubs' best players, decimating those clubs, and using said players to win premierships.
Should be fun times at Manly from now on until the end of next season.

What Bozo did left a big gaping whole something the club never really recovered from until Fittler joined and we had the new era post mid 90s
However the early 80-mid 90s were a crucial era for rugby league, the game gained a massive following, and our lack of success then had a very significant longterm effect that can be felt today with our lower numbers in our supporter base...

Hasler made the deal with Bullchocks over open phone at Bulldogs season function on wednesday .Manly told him they couldnt pay him a cent over 500k .So he told them to get the contract ready.He is on 780K a year .If he scores a premiership in his first year he gets a 500 K bonus .
He wants to take the Stuart brothers with him.
He wants SBW.
Now that leaves the Bellamy factor who was the Bulldogs first choice .
I can only hope our club gets it right this time because they are boring the fark out of me with the inhouse methology.
What would I do ? I would sign Bellamy ASAP as of 2013 .
Roosters are still in hunt for SBW and Cooper.
