Im sure the NRL would say it is policed but if John Hopoate gets this so called coaching position at Parramatta and Will earns over 500k whos to say John doesnt get extra to give to Will, aint no salary restrictions for coaching staff to my knowledge.

If its true he will be on more then Sandow, and IMO Sandow is more of a game breaker then Will and is involved in the game more so Parra have no idea.
The amount of Juniors they dont keep at there club is laughable the ones they dont sign usually go onto bigger and better things at other clubs.

Lets worry more about the Dogs team that beat us in the GF that no other Club would have been allowed to put together, the current Manly team, any Broncos team, Adam Blair getting 500k and Tiges still keeping lots of stars and the Gold Coast being bust all the time but still having a whole lot of people on massive long term deals.

could it be writing on the wall for hayne??? will's best position would be fback... maybe kearney isn't a fan of hayne's style or attitude??? otherwise paying 500k for a centre or winger is the dumbest thing i have ever heard of... there is no centre or winger worth that much even without 2 years away from 1st grade (i'm sure he'll find some crappy reserve grade to play in qld)

I think 4 or 5 years back, didn't Parra get in trouble with the cap auditor, because a players wife was being paid as a hairdresser as part of his playing contract ?
That being so, surely Hoppa Snr getting a coaching gig as part of his son's contract deal ...surely would have to be included as part of the Eels salary cap ! Lets face it, Parra couldn't say they would have employed Hoppa Snr anyway ...the blokes a complete waste of space !

If you think there is one team in the comp under the cap, you are deluded. My favourite is Lockeyer on 250k a season, when he could have got 600k at any other club.
