  • Souffs and salary cap if carney signs

If they have signed carney for the reported $200k first year, the how can they afford this.

Sandow was not on that much, so they cant use that excuse.

Alsoother players had to get their salary upped anyway, and no-one else gets theirs dropped.

And faso, their chief executive, said a month afo that they have no money left in the cap for carney and that they are not interested.

I just want to know how they continue to keep affording the players.

It's abbot tussle and his off-shore accounts and payment to ghe Burgess' mother in England.

What a sham this is !

it was actually $150k I think. They'll probably just get rid of a couple of players to fit him in.

I actually want him to go to Cronulla.

Anyone see the picture of him partying in Thailand that was in the Telegraph yesterday?

I would be concerned if he was coming to my club (though Rothfield will be able to keep a lid on it for him).

Yep I'd rather him partying down at the Shire rather than with our boys. I just can't stand the hypocrisy of it all though and the fact that Rothfield gave us so much shIt over the way we dealt with Carney's issues and that he should be in jail etc and yet he turns around and tries to get him to his club the moment we look like sacking him. The smug **** has probably got his way and he will protect Carney no doubt about it. And yeah I saw those classy photos of Carney looking off his face in Thailand in yesterday's Telecrap. Wasn't Beetroot face's column though.

I did see the pic JT and my immediate thought was - thank God he's no longer our problem, drunkard bogan that he is. I can't see this bloke being able to get off the grog longterm again for any club.

Canberra would be worried that Jarrod Croker is spending quality off field time with him. But I was happy that it appears he was not in the company of any Rooster boys.

I'd like to see the bloke at NQ myself, well out of Sydney where he can't influence any of his former Rooster teammates.

That is only in the Telerag. The SMH will publish the stories.

Who gives a stuff about that tool carney and that poof of a club souths. What ever club he goes to he will just bring bad news in a very short time and to be honest I would love for souths to start having off field dramas and to see them sink lower.
