Take as a simple example the many on here who were laughing at parra and mortimer earlier this year but now that he has signed with our club all of a sudden those same people have changed their opinion just as swiftly as rothfield in hoping that he will be the messiah.

I admit I read Buzz's blog today. There was a throwaway line in there about giving Todd a break because of his past. It made me see red. Its not his past, its his present. Its only now his past that his being protected by the hypocrite. Atleast Danny Weidler will make sure not all is covered up.

Its also been genuinely amazing to see how public opinion has turned in the East and down in the Shire. I have never seen anything like it.

On 'The Back Page' last night they were drawing similarities between Fevola and Carneys career, even drawing parallels to the similar wording of Fev's last chance at Brisbane and Todd's announcement presser.

He has been without apology, remorse or class towards his fans. Even reading his twitter I am appalled at how dumb he actually is. Those of us who stood by and defended him to the hilt, are now met with a big old spit in the face as I'm sure many others closer to him have felt. Good luck to him but he has lost a big fan.

That's right. And if Carney had signed on with Souffs or the Titans or Storm do you think Rothfield would be saying he deserves yet another chance? Of course not. He would be saying he should have been locked up six months ago like he wrote back then and he should now take a long break (digging holes in Goulburn for instance) and the NRL should think long and hard about reinstating him etc etc etc....
