I don't know why a player does that and can then look at their victim in the eye to apologize. To try and hurt someone like that should be punished by the officials in any sport.

Isaac Luke and Jeremy Smith are possibly the biggest grubs in the game, if the deliberate knee twist by Luke wasn't bad enough (or his numerous cannonball tackles, just ask Tommy Symonds), Smith drops his elbow into Sam Tomkins who is lying unprotected on the ground.

I don't understand how if you hit someone with an elbow when they are running at you, it will more than likely be a send off, yet you do it to someone lying on the ground and it is only placed on report - what happens if they suffer a broken jaw?

Nothing will happen so the players will eventually put him away.

Yeh it was a dog act, should get a long suspension regardless of whether any harm was caused or not.

Yep pendulum is right, players will take it into their own hands.

There is no place for this kind of act in the game. To deliberately try to cause serious injury is beyond any reasonable aggression that is part of the game. He deserves a long suspension.

One of the many problems with the game today is there are no real square ups any more.
If there were Melbourne would be in big touble and Sandow would spend more time in hospital than on the field

Here Here. If a bloke producewd that kind of crap in yeras gone by, it would have been dealt with on the field the following week, and the the onfield judicary would rub him out of the game for 4-6 weeks.

Its getting pathetic. Notice he doesnt do this in club games. Its his Origin and he knows that he can get away with it!

His face says it all, down syndrome. I notice he pulls his head in when JWH is his opposition.

Low act from a low player. I wonder if he will get his mum to run to his defence again this time?

Why are we so surprised? He is low life Vermin filth. Cheap and illegal antics are ingrained into that rabble from the moment they sign. He can't change what he has become when he plays for NZ, it is now instinctive.

Issac Luke has been suspended for two games for an illegal leg twist on Rangi Chase, while Jeremy Smith will miss one for use of forearm on Sam Tomkins. Bans will apply to club matches in 2012.
I wonder if by 'club matches' this applies to pre-season or the will be without a Hooker and have a rookie half in week 1 against us.
