It's always interesting that the news cycle can explain events.

Paul Osborne's behaviour in resigning over an "untenable relationship with a sponsor" is the equivalent of stealing from nursing home patients, murdering the ones who ratted you out to the police, and then setting fire to the nursing home to cover up your crimes.

The fact he either lied to Police and that statement was tendered in court or he lied in court yesterday makes it very serious.

For what it's worth, I think he was telling the truth in the first place.

Yes it does. It is the classic defence when multiple offenders are involved. Now Tandy's defence will claim Murrays evidence should be thrown out. And the person that will also benefit is Ayoub.
