Hard to go past the storm at this stage, especially with the signing of Ryles.

Warriors & the cowboys the next best. Outside of the top 3 I reckon it's very open though.

There's a group of the Bulldogs, Broncos & Titans who all have very good forward packs but really average spines and I'm struggling to see who's going to create for them. Wouldn't surprise to see them in the 8 but I don't see them as a genuine threat to the title.

Tigers & Knights will be there somewhere, will just depend how fit their key players are heading into the finals as to how serious contenders they are.

      Melbourne
      St George
      Souths
      Easts
      Manly
      North QLD
      Brisbane
      Newcastle

Wide open, in my opinion. $8 the field.

        1) Warriors
        2) Tigers
        3) Storm
        4) Knights
        5) Manly
        6) Cowboys
        7) Titans
        8) Bulldogs

I think we are just going to miss the top 8. Its a concern with the constant rumors being talked about in the media about disharmony in the side. My guess is that it is problems between Brian Smith and some of the players? Also with the problem of having to carry Mini and Braith will cost us. And what version of SKD are we going to get, brilliant 2010 or $hithouse 2011?

I was not going to have the dogs in the 8, but now Hasler is there i believe they can make it. Its amazing what a good coach can do for you!

Wouldn't surprise me if the Raiders sneak into the 8 cause of their history of one year making the finals the next year not, then making it again. The Raiders missed out this year so they would be due to make it next year. If they make it, it would most likely be at the expense of the Titans.

        Spoon = Panthers
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

At the moment there is no disharmony. Stop listening to the telecrap.

I only read yet another article in yesterday's telegraph, when they were talking about all the coaches are under pressure for next year, then while talking about Brian Smith they mentioned about how rumors of discontent within the Roosters won't go away.

There's no disharmony at the Roosters, in fact there's a great culture at the moment. I'm assuming you read it in the Daily Telegraph?

That's the farkwit Gossfield in the background having his usual dig at Smith. He loves to stir the pot, and truth is a choice he rarely goes with. He would be saying the same if we were in line for a top 4 spot or the wooden spoon. He trots it out at every opportunity and I doubt he has facts to back it up.

The truth is there's probably more disharmony at the Sharks than there are at the Roosters. But he won't say a word on that.

                    Storm will win the comp.

                    Parra or Penrith for spoon.

                    Chooks top 6.

Warriors and Merge to miss the 8.

I hope all you guys are correct about there being no unrest at the club. If we are going to be any chance of making the 8 we need to be a team united! I just don't get the telegraph's constant campaign against us though, especially when we are not a premiership heavy weight? You would imagine that they would save it for if we were a threat. I know naturally not to believe everything you read but this wouldn't surprise me given our history over the past 6 years. I realize rothfield is a total d!ckhead but the article on saturday talking about the rumours of unrest at the club just don't go away was by Paul Crawley.

Rothfield hates Brian Smith. He has had a vendetta against him for years not just since he's been with the Roosters. It makes no difference where we are on the ladder or in fact which club Smith coaches, he will attack him at every opportunity. You need to understand the relationship between Rothfilth and Smith and take any comment the imbecile says with a grain of salt. And it may be Crawley who wrote that article but he's just going off Rothfield's bullsh1t - the Editor of the Large.... The Club certainly doesn't look like a Club of unrest at the moment to me.

Wodner how rothfield & smiths problems started..

there arent enough great players at the club for their to be egos not getting along with smith..

The constant ones Anasta and he isnt good enough or important enough a player to have a problem with the coach
