As much as I loved Mr. Kenihan in the old days (I wish he was there in 04 instead of Todd Byrne) his time at the Roosters is over.

I loved watching Cross run onto Freddie passes. Hopefully he will think better and stay in retirement so I can always remember him a Rooster.

        FF.
He like all of us has bills to pay.
I think he could fill a hole on incentive payments. My vote = Yes for experience of knowing what it is like to be on a consistently winning team. Good for our team to be around.

He agreed to terms and then had a press conference saying he was going to Rugby. Little chance of him getting an offer after that.

Also, he was massively overrated. Everyone thought Walker was the problem in defence but it was him leaving Walker posted.

I saw him in Paddo maybe a couple months ago and he was skinny as..

I thought at the time - You won't be playing Rugby League again...

He was very good for us...

i think we can all agree he served us well, but it definitely wouldn't be in line with the club's policies of keeping young players at the moment. time for him to move on, will probably be lucky to get signed by anyone

Unlucky career in many ways... I've seen him play some awesome footy/rugby. One of the few players I can say I've played with/against as a kid... oooh how special am I :P

Played "hard-ball" with Uncle Nick, and lost.
Was good in an easts jumper last decade, but not now at 32 years of age.
Didn't we already get rid of some injury prone backs in Linnett & Graham? Would be a dumb signing.

Quentin is way past his used-by-date with easts.
                      Uncle Nick does not forget!

I wouldn't sign him as I always thought he was overrated but I disagree the thoughts that signing an experienced player for a year or two is against our youth policy. If we don't have the quality there's nothing wrong with signing the right player for a year or two to prevent blooding youngsters too early.
