  • Nrl Player in fight at Bondi Junction

South Sydney Rabbitohs five-eighth John Sutton was assaulted during a night out in Sydney's eastern suburbs, it has been reported.
The 27-year-old NRL player was in Bondi when he was caught up in a fight at about 11.30pm (AEDT) on Saturday.
Police said an argument began between two groups of men in Curlewis Street, with four men trading punches.

The two groups had been escorted out of the White Revolver nightclub before the violence flared, the ABC reported.
Sutton was present at the scene and was assaulted, the ABC said.
A spokesman for Souths declined to comment to AAP and calls to Sutton's mobile phone went unanswered.
Two metal bollards were thrown at a nearby hotel during the fight and the venue's manager was also threatened and attacked.
