Vautin is way past his use by date. The Footy Show with tossers like Andrew Voss makes me cringe.
Matthew Johns is a disgrace and like his brother a protected species. The only thing worth watching on his pathetic show was Controversy Corner.
I much prefer that Andrew Moore show on One HD these days.

I can not stand Vautin and Voss they really irk me.
The biggest problem the Johns boys have is they got caught. I do not support the bad things they did, but if you think its only them or only a couple of footballers then you are mistaken and its not isolated to footballers. You see same sort of stuff hanging out with musicians too.

Yep you're right. But I guess when you put an actual name and face to the person, it gives you someone to hate / despise. And just because you don't get caught doesn't make it right. I'm not naive enough to know this doesn't happen all the time. And I despise all those others that have done this sort of thing too, even though I don't know who they are. And I am a huge music fan (have over 400 CDs), so I know what you mean about musicians. And as a female I guess the whole thing infuriates me even more.

They have needed more rugby league content and less parody/comedy rubbish or whatever it is they do for a long time.

What about when they get irrelevant guests such as AFL players and surfers.. It's the FOOTY show.. Can't they tell from the audience that no one gives a shit about those other guys. The audience probably cheers once or twice cos they're told to, that's about it. You don't see the AFL talk shows or other sport shows bringing in NRL players and talking them up.

Funny thing is that the last couple of years has seen the Footy Show actually focus on more football content than ever, the only real attempts at comedy have been Beau Ryan doing what Johns was doing, but usually just in one short segment which can be a bit hit & miss but IMO he is funnier than Johns was most of the time. Darry Brohman seems to be very popular, but I find him a bit tiresome. I quite like the segment that involves the partners of the players. But over all I like the Footy Show, at least they've stopped dressing up in women's clothing!

The Footy Show improved when Andrew Voss and Gus took over the majority of the planning, so I've heard.

Like with the Sunday Roast, it works because they talk sport, not bullshit.

Well "the things you may have missed" is about all they let him do on the Footy Show now & I quite like that as well as I quite like the Roast, his calling of the games is alright too compared to Rabs anyway, so I guess that means that I don't mind his work at all!?
