  • Nathan Hindmarsh

He's retiring at the end of the 2012 season. Big loss for the club and fans.

    Thoughts?

One part of me says "who cares?"......the other admires him for the efforts he has put in for his club, state & country over the years.
    Will be greatly missed.

Hindy is one of the good guys..inspirational and genuine.

One of the few non-Easts players I like and respect.

        +1

Ornament to the game on and off the field. I have seen a bunch of Parra games where he pretty much single handedly kept them in it.

Another champion player who will be destined to retire without a grand final win.

I haven't read the papers today, is this from his own lips? I thought he was looking at going around again next year. He & Burt, also Nathan Cayless play indoor cricket at the same centre we play at in the off season, we played them a couple of times, unbelievable athletes!

My friend spoke to Matt Keating, Pat O'Hanlon and Esikeli Tonga yesterday and they all told him. Plus an article came out about 15 mins ago.

Retiring too early, still the best backrower they've got.

Defensively and effort wise. Not really in attack.

Not now, I agree. Earlier on in his career he was devastating in attack.
