He'd probably go well at either of those clubs with those coaches IMO.

I have a feeling they are the only 2 coaches that Mason would respect & YES he probably would go pretty good under either of those 2.
It's funny that after all his headlines that Bennett & Bellamy rate him.

He is probably a good bloke but he is a cancer at every club he goes too.

            Agreed Thickeylickey.

I've a theory with Wilbur. I reckon he's just oldskool, can party hard and still perform. Problem is he's an influence on kids, and they just can't do the do like they used to anymore.

I hope the rumors wrong to be honest, he would tear our kids a new one under those coaches.

              Potential to do so, yes.
The way I see Willy is "no ticker".
Good in short bursts as an impact player after 20 mins.
The downside I have noticed with him.....he goes missing when the hard stuff starts.

If we give him another go we truly are dumb.

You are kidding yourself Mason is a shell of his fromer self as a player Our young guys would/will batter him As will the young forwards from every other club in the comp

If Mason makes a returtn to the NRL the best he will do is be a solid 1st grader He will make no real impact on a match Although every dog has its day

                  No ShandyAndy I'm not kidding.

It's only my opinion of course, as opposed to yours, but you have no proof he's a shell of anything.

And our young blokes have pootential, but have proven zip.

IF he returns, and IF he plays under Bellyache or Waynekerr IMO he would kill it and us. Those coaches have proven time and time again to get the best out of so called broken down hacks or nuffys.

                  I hope I'm wrong but I doubt I am.

You're usually rather well typed and rational but even I had problems understanding that incoherent rabble.

Willie mason survived in rugby league because he played in such a dominant bulldogs pack. He built his reputation on running wide at little blokes and was lucky there were others in his pack that could cover for his disgraceful work rate. Any team that has a Mason in their pack needs to compensate with a Fitzgibbon, tongue, or Hindmarsh etc. I cannot believe anyone would be stupid enough to sign him.

                            Is it Radman???

Don't get me wrong I like ShandyAndy, usually cool as a cucumber and offers quality opinion and mass-debate. But that post, which I missed earlier, reeked of either too many cans or someone whose reached the end of their rag.

Either way I'm Kool and the Gang with Shandy. I mean lemonade and beer, not exactly my cuppa tea, but I believe in live and let cry.

BTW say g'day to Tones for me please RWB. We had some debate on the wall but I always liked him and his opinions. I do know I damaged him with my Pingy stuff. But hey it was all from me at least.

Of course I'll say hi for you. And we've all had our debates on The Wall but I'm met some pretty incredible people on there who are now like family to me, so it wasn't all bad!
