I inflict most harm on Botany bay/Towra. Have just returned from a jaunt down in Dover (southern Tassie), part of the Huon Valley where the salmon is farmed. All i can say is when the lizards are on they are on.......and the blue eye. Always thought the term "lizard" was an idiom misplaced in time cos for most sydney anglers any fish will do and the only pests are leather jackets and water police. Dover flatties are like those vipers in the cave that Indiana Jones has to negotiate

Caught my best two flathead in Sydney Harbour on Australia Day many years ago,it was the first or second year they had the ferry boat races,the biggest one damaged my landing net for ever,also caught one of those pesky leatherjackets that day too,lol,not a bad one hitting almost 40cm for a fan bellly,bloody delicious too.

I remember seeing these guys at Cronulla Workers. There was the 3 of us, the sound guys, a group of about 10 people that must have been their friends and that was it.
