  • Which teams bore you?

Ok, over the years, when a game does not have the Roosters in it,which teams bore you to watch?

For mine, the Riff, Nth QLD and to some extent, the Naughts but the one that really put me to sleep is the Sharks. I would rather stick my genitals in a bees nest than watch them play. (unless its against us of course)

Tigers, Sharks, Souths, North Queensland, Storm, Canberra, Bulldogs, Penrith, Parramatta, Broncos, Newcastle, Dragons and Manly.

The only two teams I don't fall asleep watching are the Warriors and Gold Coast.

Parra & the Titans because they are pathetic.

For some reason I like watching Souths play because I love it when they lose.
They would be the team I watch the most after the Mighty Roosters. Weird ah?

Not at all Mickey! I like watching the old traditional Sydney teams the best like Souths, Wests, Parra, Manly & St George as it reminds me of my childhood and simpler times. I have no interest in manufactured out of town teams like Canberra or Melbourne as there is no emotional connection for me.

The teams that bore me the most are the Sharks, Titans and Melbooooring (as the name suggests).

RWB I would not call Canberra a manufactured team. (Yes I live in the Capital). Annoying pack of whingers yes, but they are not manufactured like the Storm. The faiders are very much embedded in the locals psyche here which is why they have this us against them (Sydney clubs) mentality. They are quite parochial, though like me, there are many 'older' people who live here who don't support them as we already had a team before they came on the scene. I agree with preferring to watch the traditional Sydney teams more though as that is what I grew up with too.

Fair enough call! I wouldn't mind living in Canberra myself. I know a few Roosters fans there and I wouldn't have to deal with tools on bikes and trams like I do here!

Tools on bikes and trams??? Are you on drugs? Try living in this cesspit of road hogging car wannabees and see how much of a paradise you have there!

Its strange how close to home for me your post is. When in Aus, I choose to live in the ACT but I am currently in a place where pushies reign and trams may as well be call tRAMS!

Filthy, they are ALLOWED TO DRIVE THROUGH RED LIGHTS HERE! Amber means go faster, not slow down in Victoria and I'm not joking. I walk everywhere as I live in the CBD and it can be really frightening as cars are allowed to block pedestrian crossings if they need to because they are more important. I see students being sandwiched between trams and buses all the time. It reminds me of Bangkok sometimes.

Was in Bangkok a few weeks ago and the rules or lack thereof there at least work. The rules here are totally ignored not just by cyclists but by cars also and no one cares. Well not until they have an issue anyway. It causes chaos and is so dangerous. Pedestrians here just walk in front of cars and then have the hide to eyeball YOU in the CAR when you dont slow down for you. Bullshit to that I say. Cross at a crossing or lights or wait until there are no cars then cross otherwise you kight just learn that you are not as strong as a car! IDIOTS! Bikes... dont even get me started. I ride 20kms every day but I follow the rules. I cant say that for a lot of other selfish pricks here. The stupid thing here is that no matter what the selfish prick on the bike does wrong, the car is ALWAYS at fault! If they are not doing their part by obeying the rules, then when they go down under my car... NOT my problem!

stephen, it's funny to watch Tigers fans celebrate too early..like Souths ones. I love heritage round when those 2 teams play because one of them is going home a loser so it's a win win situation if you really think about it...
