Today i got onto a promo from a new bookie- they are offering 100/1 on any NRL team to win the 2023 Premiership- max bet $10-only 1 bet per account.

I'm a mug punter but to get 10 bucks @ 100/1 on the Chooks is value-considering they are 6/1 in normal markets. They also do the same promo for the AFL 2023 Winner and 1 Melbourne Cup runner.

Im not going to put a link but id google a "Betr" bookie!

Nothing stopping you whittling down the field to 8 certainties, creating 8 separate accounts and putting $10 on each of them. Damn good chance you'd win $1000 for an $80 outlay.

But there must be a catch in there somewhere.

You'd have to share the winnings with 16 others. And opening 16 accounts is shitload of work with all the ID requirements etc.

And 1,000 divided by 16 is $62.50. Long wait for a $50 profit, albeit guarenteed.

I got Argentina at 100-1 and I got gold trip on the Melbourne cup at 100-1.

chooks and Penrith were already down to 10-1 when I got on, so I got storm at 100-1.

the only catch is, the more bets people put on, the selection of 100-1 teams start to go down.

in the AFL I got Richmondat 100-1 because Geelong, and the demons were already down to 10-1.

Impossible to open more than 1 account under your name. Verification practices prevent this from happening. Yes you can get friends and family etc to open 1 account each though
