Not Yet but must be soon since the CBA/Salary Cap has been finalised.

Final approval of the New Contract by the NRL Auditor will also be required as they can value a player at a higher amount for salary cap purposes that what a player actually signs for.

What would be Lodges value be - 500k plus a season ?

I think he will take 500k this year especially with the payout he got from the Warriors. Then when JWH retires, Lodge may take on that role and pay upgrade then. Who knows!. I was just a bit concerned when he is not listed in our best 17. Thankyou for the info though King Salvo.

Interesting - yeah no idea but he was playing well enough for Origin (if not Kangaroos) at the back-end of 2022 IMO. He's a relatively unique mixture of brute strength and ball skills.

BUT... he's got a record and we're engaging with that risk. How do you accurately factor it into his current worth? Can another club spoil the deal by offering him $$& and saying he rejected them?

I think he has committed to the club just waiting for the Cap to get sorted then I am pretty sure a contract will appear fairly quick I'd imagine.

Surely he's at elite level value for Middles - a Force Majeure. I'd say 500 is way too low and I doubt that youthful indiscretion is a factor in any clubs' calculations especially after those stints in the end games after all Perrotet's Nazi Uniform at 21 is seen as youthful folly as was Harry's. But since there's no media talk about him I'd say that he's as good as wrapped up in the RWB.

All players should earn the same amount

Is the Comrade in favour of equal distribution of wealth?

I must say I wasn't a big fan of signing Lodge.

I let me prejudice cloud my opinion.

I think he was terrific for us in 22 and I hope to see him play out his career in the Red, White and Blue.

He’s a very good player and hard worker. I say he is on the ‘need’ list.
