    Hey guys,

As you know, I dont get to see every game all the time so correct me if I am wrong but have we played all our games so far this year in the white jersey? Do we even have a blue jersey anymore? Dont get me wrong, I dont have a dislike for the white but I do favour our traditional blue.

    Where is it?

Yes we still got it id say we just been wearing white because our home games have been during the hot day and when we played the Warriors which we where wearing white since we played in all white for the 2002 grand final. Id say we will see it this week or the week after against the Dragons.

Seriously, who would know any more?

Apparently the Warriors wore OUR jumper, today!

In a word, this bed-hopping between jumpers every week: disgraceful.

It wouldn't happen in the AFL where tradition still means something.

Kudos to Cronulla for going back to their old jumper and sticking with it.

Ralphy from what I know away we've worn the white cos it's our away strip, with dark shorts though.

Home games have been day ones so we've chosen the away one as it's white and, from what someone said on here just a week or so ago, it's approx 10 degrees cooler on the body over the usual homie strip. Also its our right to wear what we want being at homie.

And last week we wore the all white, even though it was night, in memory of 02 as it was the heritage round thingy.

Hopefully next weekend being night and homie, even though it's in Darwin, we should wear our homie blue strip.

I believe ANZAC day is an away this season even though it's at homie. But we usually wear either the light blue war strip or the foundation hoops strip anyways.

Sooooooooooooo basically the short version, two MrWongs don't make a white strip. There's a message in there somewhere I think.

          What you talkin bout Robert???

Do a simple google search The Tards, like every team, have homie, away, heritage, members, trial etcetcetc strips. That's at least what my iPad shows.

Even Souffs have to have at least homie and away strips, that's an NRL thingy.

The Worriers are the champs of the earn though, they have TEN at last count.

In this modern day game, full of marketing and commercial realities, it's just part of the deal.

In fact don't the gAyFL wear different strips for heritage, trials, aways etc??? I don't know but I'm sure I've heard such things from Mexicans.

Club has stated they will continue to wear the white jersey until the heat dies down. Might see it from May onwards.

We should have one jersey the rwb which should be worn at every game except the heritage round where the original jersey is worn.If there is an nrl requirement for an away jersey to be worn then thats a bullshit rule and it should be scrapped.Tradition and history is there in the rwb. These guys are elite suposedly fit athletes playing in a darker jersey is not going to affect thier performance one bit, wait till they get to darwin playing in a white jersey aint going to mean diddley squat its still stinkin hot up there and our guys are going to struggle with the heat.I think the cows are going up early but its not as bad for them as they are used to it as it gets stinking hot in townsville as well.Big advantage to the cows this darwin game believe me.

I agree with both sides here plus the club would make some good money from people who like the one off jerseys (anzac, pink) etc.

There was a time when you could turn on the TV to a game and know instantly who was playing. No more. The jumper means NOTHING these days.

I know what u mean TVG. Its like we have about 80 teams in the comp thanks to each side having about 5 or so jerseys each!

That was when players earned $100 for a win and $25 for a loss.

The money has to come from somewhere and the jerseys are all about marketing.

Having said that, I don't get it because surely one identifiable jersey is better for marketing? I don't know anyone who buys all of them.

I remember when I was a kid in the early 80's if they used that white jersey it was a really big deal. Usually in a trial. I wanted to buy one and couldn't find it anywhere. How times have changed.

Lol, poor old Bobby Dylan, he's always been a fav of mine, just his mellowyellow style.

Look agree with the sentiment, I'd love only 1 jumper, I'm as oldskool as the rest of youse.

But it's all about cashola these days, it's that simple. All these jumpers, mobile sponsorships, some teams have different home and away sponsors, it's a marketers wet dream.

I personally love the way the NFL do it, plain simple jumpers, easily identifiable and no sponsors. That said even they have home and aways now.

And really it's such a minor worry, what strip is being worn this week. It's all about what covers the left Titt baby. The Coqq.
