you will never be able to please everyone. the current time slot seeks to appeal to traditionalists of day time grand finals whilst also finding a balance to maximise tv revenue and viewership. A few years ago you had people complaining that night grand finals had lost their appeal and soul. They aren't going to change it back to night-time all of a sudden imo...

62.5% of regular weekend games are played at night so I can see an argument for it there.

Personally, I like the twilight idea of a 5pm game. It also means its not too late for the kids.

The AFL has the balls to look after the fans and stick to its guns with avo grandfinal so people can really get into it with barbees and make it a family affair including getting to and from the game at a reasonable time. The other option is for a night game and a public holiday the next day

We are only 1 from 4 GFs in the past 12 years. Still, I would rather that than the record of lol@souffs or the gummies. They need not worry about when a GF is played as they are usually overseas by the time the GF comes round anyway!

It never went back to day GF's, what we have currently is a twilight GF.
I would prefer to go back to the 3.00pm match before seeing it back at night.

Should be a day gf. Only have to watch footy on sunday arvos to see the standard is better. At the end of the day though it will be what suits nsw!
