There's quite a few here that wanted him gone a month ago....when he apparently " lost the dressing room ". I'm not denying this team is massively underperforming but playing musical chairs with coaches isn't the answer- i bet some hard decisions will be made with recruitment and retention of players if things dont improve.

I just think many are frustrated with his continual tinkering with the team and playing players out of position…

We are blessed every year with a gun roster thanks to Uncle Nick (minus injuries)yet Robbo seems to make the simple selections very difficult which in turn frustrates the fans..

Not sure supporters are waiting for his demise,I think it’s more wanting him to maximise the talent at his disposal!

Pauga deserves his shot. I'd say that is the last we have seen of Paulo in a Roosters Jersey barring injuries. A shame he didn't kick on as he looked good the first few weeks.

suaali is made to looked embarrassing, manu never and will never be a 6. And drop the 1 player in Walker that can create something

robbo atm is as good as Freddy, has a good roster assembled and can’t use it

Nat back in the second row??? I’ll stop or I’m going to whip myself into a state of depression. The plot has been lost and then some.

The signing of Dom Young and Spencer Leniu over a month ago gives you a idea of where the coaches think the team needs boosting. A Josh Morris type defensive left centre and a ball playing backrower would be nice. Interesting times ahead!

The butcher brothers remaining starting second rowers? So according to Trent these 2 have basically pushed Sitili and Crichton out of their preferred positions based off such stellar performances this year?

Or... Crichton's not quite fit enough to be a starter yet as he's still only just returned from a significant amount of mental health R&R. Only those within the 4 walls know what's gone on there but he'll start when he's ready.

Robbo's not going anywhere. We're a win outta the 8 and while we woulda preferred a better start to the season, a solid win against the Doggies and a proper showing against the Riff the week after (followed by a thrashing of the Knights) is what I'm looking forward to. If you're not then I reckon you're on the wrong side of Anzac Pde... mate!

IMO a plus side with Robbo is that he's always looking ahead. Maybe this had contributed to our lacklustre form (head in the clouds too much?) but the upshot is that we always seem to have a heap of gun players on the horizon.

Look forward to seeing these two play!

To be clear, I’d personally love to see Robbo successfully see out his current contract.

In saying that, I’m also very concerned with his performance over the last couple of years, particularly this year which has been exhaustively discussed on this forum. Picking players out of position and stubbornly sticking with obviously ludicrous selections is impacting the team’s ability to win games.

Moreover, Robbo sticking with depth players who filled in and busted their arses over the last few injury plagued years is admirable, but it is not helping the team to be the best that it can be. Up and comers are not getting a look in at the Roosters and we risk them leaving for greener pastures because the first grade squad is sprinkled with “loyalty selections”. Hutchinson and the Butcher boys fit this profile. Would these guys make the top 17 at Penrith, Souths, Melbourne, Sharks or Brisbane? I doubt it. We have better in reserve grade; eg. Whyte, May, S Smith.

Then we have the lack of consequences for ongoing poor form; Radley, Suaalii, Keary, Allen, Butchers, Hutchinson.

Then we have our ongoing lack of team discipline; dropped balls, unnecessary passes, penalties, 6 agains, sin bins, running into touch, forward passes, etc. I would have thought the coach should be working on this after years of the same old same old.

Games plans don’t seem to have changed in years. The Rooster’s Way has become a joke.

These are what I see as issues. The coach is 100% capable of fixing all of these issues and I hope he does, but will he?
