of course we are in with a chance. But i expect the st george defence to be on song on anzac day... and with our 2nd worst attack in the comp (behind parra) i think we'll once again struggle to break their line; just like the past few anzac days

we'll put in a good fight though

Do you live in a dreamworld? Nothing would make me happier than to follow a good Roosters team but this side is crap, in attitude and ability. We may beat Saints or we may get annihalated, going on form the latter is a more likely result.

I reckon the only hope we have of beating the saints is if Mortimer>Anasta, Mitchell >Friend (bench), and Bosden starts at lock. .Even then is 60:40 in their favor.

Another thing I remember reading a while back was that Justin Carney was first identified as a lock forward back in his junior days.I can't remember where I read it but it does seem like an interesting experiment. He certainly has the build and with broken play may be dangerous with his deceptive speed, however I'm not sure he can handle the work rate. Anyway food for thought....

You say I live in a dreamworld, I say that you oversimplify with your black or white view of the world.

I don't think this side is crap, I think it is young and currently average (I reckon we will end up just inside or just outside the 8). I also recognise there is no quick fix and I see a lot of potential in the kids in this squad and I reckon Smith is as good a coach as any for the stage of development our squad is at.

And on Saints, we win or we get flogged are not the only two options but once again Cogburn you oversimplify the picture.

Going on performances so far it seems we win ugly or we get thrashed, it's the way it is.

If Justin Carney doesn't play in the centres we'll lose.

One day we might win an Anzac day game.
                        One day.

Our attack was pathetic against the Cowboys.
