The future of Victor Radley

I'd love Rads to stay but he really needs some sort of professional help like a sports psychologist or perhaps a mentor who he can lean on and get the rubbish out of his game.


When he is on and playing, he has the potential to play just as well as Cam Murray and Isaah Yeo. He's just running around the field like a ticking time-bomb doing stupid shit and I bet having the likes of Cheese around him (off the field) isn't doing him and his footy any good either !

Nathan Brown has had better back to back games in the 13 when on the field than all of Victors’ performances combined since 2020. He’s become a liability. Not just one or two flaws that the positives outweigh. Rather he ruins the team in every aspect. He doesn’t take the line on anymore. He doesn’t distribute the ball well. The offload has disappeared. He loves a penalty. He’s constantly doing dumb things on the field to put us at a disadvantage. He’s averaging out what seems to be nearly a sin bin a fortnight, a suspension a month. He’s unfit, and doesn’t have anywhere near the same intensity as his early years. I don’t care if Vic is a cult hero or not, the quicker we cut ties and free up a large chunk of money for a player who spends more time at the MRC than on the pitch, the better. I’ve always been a lover of his game, but the plight from one of the games best 13’s has been magnificent. We used to talk about him being the stand out lock in the league, we now question if there’s a lock in the game that isn’t better than him.

Victor is still young and stupid as most footballers are his age. He will come good. Many a great footballer were ticking time bombs, just that today's are under more scrutiny. Half of the so called legends of the game would not have made it in today's sterile version of the game. Could he play in the No.6, possibly. I would rather see Radley share the hooker position with the Cheese. They can share the 9 and 13 positions.

No one questions his heart, it's his brain that's the problem. He needs to be COACHED, or disciplined hard until he wakes up, I love the guy but he has been underperforming for 2 years.

Tbf Vic is probably the sorta guy that still shoves rice crispies and coco pops up his nostrils.

So if Victor gives some of his aggression to Nat, its only fair if he gets some of Nats brains and composure in exchange.

Half the problem isn't with Victor. Its the fukn officials. If the refs and MRC treated him the same way they do other enforcers in the NRL. This would hardly be an issue. Look the other hardmen in other rosters. The difference between them and Victor is that he wears RWB.

Agreed.. he has like 3-4 off field incidents already too ( getting kicked off the plane, Byron bay fight, the head butting incident etc )

Radley is our 13.
He is just one of those guys that will give away a penalty here or there. I can live with that.
I just can’t live with stupid off the ball penalties, headbutts etc.
