Hopefully lodge finds last years form in the next couple games, seems to still need some match fitness, looks heavier at the moment.

Other than Collins, our front row has not been in the finest form over the last month. Big part of our problem as we are that team that powers up the middle.

I’m more worried about retaining Whyte than Lodge tbh

Agreed, I honestly think he has pretty poor so far this season.

If the Roosters couldn't match the Broncos offer as they did want to keep Baker then remaining cap funds are finite one assumes - Can't see Lodge getting to 800k he is asking for as reported by a few posters on here.

It's a shame but we can't keep 'em all Bondi Boy may disagree! Someone had to make way for Lenui.

Lodge isn't really doing his market value any favours with his current form.

Lodge has been told he is not part of our plans. I'd say we end up with a rotation of JWH, Leniu, Collins, Whyte/May

That could explain why he's just going through the motions.

Easy fix. Drop him to reserve grade and give Whyte game time.

I like this rotation so I hope this is on the money. The Butcher bros can do a job on the middle if needed as I think Crichton & Sitili should be our edge forwards.

Isn't Whyte a bit light to be a prop and better suited to the back row and playing on an edge.

It looks to me like the club may view Sitili as a future front rower. He has the mobility to suit the modern game, more so than Lodge.
