Couldn't agree more. We are normally the team that dominates up the centre-this year we are being dominated. I think we all knew that SST would be a loss-but we are really missing him.

I dont care who you got in the halves, three quarters and fullback- if you're are getting belted up the centre you will lose the game 99% of the time. You just have to look at what the rotation of JFH, Leota and Leniu do for Penrith

Robinson typically plays his edge forwards in the middle throughout the season, not exactly sure about the logic behind it but think he’s looking for them to improve their tight running game. I wouldn’t be surprised if both Crichton and Tupouniua are back out on the edges soon.

Not a huge loss. But watch him become a superstar at the Broncos.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

On Lodge - there's a new interview with him on the Roosters site. He's gone for sure.

            Why what does he say?

              on Lodge, this can read a tad bitter;

“I’m on a reduced thing but I can’t do that forever,” he said.

“I was probably under the assumption that I was going to stay longer when I did that, and we did speak about that, but the situation changed.”

I'm assuming he's playing in the middle to make it easier on his knee, but also with what you've said.

He does look like he's put on a few kgs and could end up front row like SST who moved from lock to be a bookend.

Really good signing for the Broncos. I rate Fletcher highly and think we haven't seen close to what he is capable of. Comes down to the old adage that you can't keep them all.

I think we may regret letting Fletcher Baker go. I thought he had begun to show why he is highly rated this season.

baker's got some skills but didn't put himself in the 'must keep' category. fair enough if he goes for an extra 50k, whatever it is, and a promise of more game time. no doubt we weren't burn our bridges and maybe he comes back some day

192cm and 106kgs. Basically the same as Collins, and could definitely carry a few more kgs.

Good on him for getting another contract
would be better then what we can provide
not worth breaking the bank, just a solid average prop! Is 24 this year and only plays when mass injuries so better chance at broncos for him
but unit but does not have the speed to dominate like others
remember he is 24 this year, same age as haas and Tino etc

not worth breaking the bank or going into a bidding war over

Whyte needs to be in 1st grade, Manly have already made him an offer and if he doesn't get to play NRL after running for 250m every week i don't blame him leaving.

Agreed, but drop Nat Butcher for Whyte.

We have to keep him, I would try and offload Angus Chrighton.
