Sandon Smith is a chance and suddenly everyone thinks we are going to win the comp. I hope so.

Having a specialist half with Kez and Manu in their preferred position will make a huge difference. Add to that a genuine 9 that can play 80 minutes and offers near perfect service from dummy half and you're cooking with gas.

Things were never going to click without a specialist half and players out of position.

I'm starting to get farking excited.

St george nearly got them last week, Wests beat them..... they are vulnerable without Cleary, but it takes an 80 minute effort, getting up in their face and good completions..... we can do it, and we need to do it now.

We gave up after 10 minutes in the last encounter with them. Teddy spoke in the presser after that game - words to the effect of " I couldn't keep their heads up after the 2nd try"

The Boys have trained the house down this week.

I believe we'll see a different performance this round!

The way Robbo spoke at the presser today I think we will see Sandon starting at 7 and Joey back to centre. He didn't confirm it obviously, just dodged the question.

It was a good presser actually.

I've got a feeling we will get the $$ tomorrow. Haven't had that all year to be honest. Well, maybe Round 1.

Tbh we really don't match up anywhere. Their forwards with Yeo at the helm are their real strength with the Backs just a whisker behind them. A win here would be one for the Ages because as a unit the Riff rank with the very best over the last 20 years.

One of the team’s biggest problem’s this year is giving away dumb penalties and making errors at key times, letting the opposition off the hook. I hope we don’t see that again this week.

Yeah I agree, goin' good for a snitch. Took a while to recover mentally from his Dewsbury run-in but seems to have grown a pair. Not in the same street as Crichton however.

I reckon if Smith starts at 5/8 Hutcho is in the 17 to play a few minutes at dummy half.

Love his aggression. He just needs to put some games together and have some luck and he’ll be top class.
