Having a specialist half with Kez and Manu in their preferred position will make a huge difference. Add to that a genuine 9 that can play 80 minutes and offers near perfect service from dummy half and you're cooking with gas.

Things were never going to click without a specialist half and players out of position.

The way Robbo spoke at the presser today I think we will see Sandon starting at 7 and Joey back to centre. He didn't confirm it obviously, just dodged the question.

It was a good presser actually.

I've got a feeling we will get the $$ tomorrow. Haven't had that all year to be honest. Well, maybe Round 1.

Where are all the Les Miserables and his mate poor old Ray Stehr (bitter Ray should hang his head in shame for trying to have any association even by forum name moniker with the Roosters great) , Steggles, Carlos and those others? Where are they pre-game? They'll be front and centre milliseconds after a loss. But you never see them being positive in any way at all in the lead up to a game.

I am not a Robbo hater, but I am a Robbo realist, and I stand by my criticism of his decisions to drop walker, move manu and Keary, play suaalii at centre and persist with hutch in the 17.
also his failure to get Radley to play like a professional, the release of verrills and the signing of Cheese, and planty of other questionalbe decisions.
He's created the desperate situation we are in, no question of that, it;s up to him to get us out of it.
I hope he does, and it starts this weekend.

I’ll believe it when I see it. We never know what Robbo is thinking anymore.

We have a very good side on paper which can give any team a run for their money and I think we’ll be a lot better this time round after the humiliation, Toups back and Cleary out. But we will be severely punished for errors, penalties and sin bins. Can we cause an upset? Don’t think so. All I’m hoping for is a closer score and that we play really well. Riff by 15.

Here’s some positivity for you; despite being towelled up 48-4 not so long ago, Easts will beat the Panthers tonight by 8 IF Manu pays centre, Sandon half and Allen left, right out.
