Wasn't Brian Noble thrown around as an option earlier in the year?

Not sure how he'd fare in the NRL but I'd take him over Steve Folkes any day. That bloke was in charge when the Dogs players were behaving at their worst and he's the last bloke I'd want in charge of our current playing roster.

Personally, I'd stick with putting faith in Kearney. He is a totally different prospect to Fittler because he has had solid experience as an assistant coach under Bellamy over a number of years and has also spent time with Wayne Bennett when coaching the Kiwis.

Whoever gets the job has a huge task ahead of them.
