remember back years ago at parra he decided one off season to buy a lot of fat props because he thought that was where the game was moving too? Problem though was that the game was speeding up then and the fat props were useless. Smith is behind the times. We need someone who is leading the marathon rather than being stuck on the starting line.

poore on current form would be a woeful choice. in saying that before he moved to parramatta he was in the top 10 props going round. played for NSW then chased the big bucks at parra and started playing like a muppet. the difference? wayne bennet and the systems he put in place vs kearney and the shambles that is parrammatta. in conclusion, players arent necessarily going to make a difference. sure they take the hit ups, score and set up the tries but without a skilled mentor who not only gets the best out of an individual player but the entire team, even the greatest prospect can quickly turn to shyte. sometimes an avg coach can coach a team to have a great season ala smith 10, anderson 09 etc, but its the good coaches that keep the team thereabouts yr in yr out and strikes when the time is right. with salary cap and evenly distributed talent the competitive advantage lies in the coaching ranks.
I didnt expect you to remember but am sure some others on here would remember it.
No it's you that has the bad memory, remember your Bwaiff love???
Google it. And don't rely on others. You make the bold statements, you play the forseeer of all things, you should man up and prove your Worth in this respect.
I have not denied you are correct. I've just asked for proof.

Remember he signed big fat props on big dollars like cannings only for the game to move towards more mobile forwards?
cmon backwards, surely you remember now. You are not living up to your nickname backwards if you can't remember back to smiths days at parra. And here I was hoping you would be able to remember back to our blue jerseys in 1975.
The crazy thing is that Jason Ryles would have been the perfect fit for this year...
Surely there is no truth to the Morley returning rumour is there?
Spot on, can't believe we released Ryles. I also said earlier this year that we should've made a play for Cashmere who was playing Dragons reserves.... watch him go for the Tigers. Plenty of props have shown the ability to play well into their 30's successfully, getting them late in their careers when the market deems them to be too old is great value.
