Its a shame injuies and suspensions has forced Trent hand . only needs to move Joey back to centre.

No excuses. Radley and Swarloohoo have been rubbish anyway. Maybe the guys in their spots will play with some heart.

The question is.................did last weeks win give me any confidence.
          Alas no.

Can't see us winning games like this until we end the halves experiment.

Massive game, if we win we will be 7th. but if we lose we could be 13th
if Parra and Newcastle win they jump over us.
I reckon we are a chance, we will certainly have plenty to play for
so it should be an all out effort from our boys.
Sandon Smith and Pauga are great additions
Leave the handbrake off and we might just roll over the riff...... not the cliff.

Will be a close game. Need everything to click. Even without Cleary they are better than what we've been tossing up... fingers crossed we can start well and show some resolve in defence.

We couldn't beat Panthers with a fit walker, an inform manu, radley and Suallili last year and now with all those missing one way or other we will beat them today as Cleary is out! Gee that's the definition of optimism....I hope I have egg on my face...

We've got to turn up the dial tonight and I think we will. Wlll it be good enough?

Looking forward to seeing the two rookie halves in action. Its up to our guys to get around Sandon and set a platform. Penrith will for their bloke.

Need the much maligned Butcher Bros to win their individual tricks against a physical fast moving pack. Egan has shown some good signs.

These are the battles you look forward too, especially on our own dunghill.

It starts with our pigs having a massive game and running riot over their forward pack.

For the first time in many years I have no expectations one way or the other. I definitely will be hoping for a huge victory, but any victory will be sweet, however if we lose tonight I will not be slitting my wrists, life will go on and I hope to live to see many more games . That’s the sad mental state this season has got me into after nearly a decade of near excellence. There’s something not right about this year. I can’t put my finger on it but feel strange about our season.
                          As always , GO ROOSTERS

Cogger is hardly a rookie, debuted in NRL in 2016, played 43 first grade games in NRL plus 28 for Huddersfield...... he can play but will have a miss or two in him hopefully.

I remember we played the Riff about this time last year. We were the better team but lost due to a dodgy ref / bunker call. But from there on we started our winning streak the following round. Go Easts!
