  • What a great surprise!

I don't who it was yet, but someone here at work has left some fantastic Rooster memorabilia on my desk this morning.

I have pictures and signatures of the Eastern suburbs teams' tour of New Zealand from I think the 1930s. Names like Norm Pope, Dave Brown, Max Nixon, Ray Stehr, Les Rogers.

I got given 3 poster sized pictures of the 1930, 1935 and 1945 Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football club when they won the Flowers Memorial Pennant for club championships. The posters contain names, and club records.

I got a picture of what I think is Dally Messenger in full flight.

I got a history piece on Dave Brown.

I have no idea who left them for me, but I am certainly going to have them framed.

    Chook.

I hope it's not a similar to the surprise Nate Myles left for employees of the hotel.
