  • congrats Tamou - Easts junior to make test debut

Lets put all the eligibility farce to one side for a moment so we can celebrate a Roosters junior (Paddo Tigers) make his test debut.

Roosters juniors are pretty rare in the NRL so having one make the Australian side is a great achievement. Also IIRC SKD played a wee bit for Clovelly so technically two Easts juniors are playing in Friday's test

this is good for the kid but no big deal for our first grade side. This is the only one that matters in the modern game

The question remains, why isn't he playing first grade for the Roosters? Couldn't anyone at the club see his potential!

Are you sure it isn't Cummins selected to referee the under 20's S.T.O.O.L.?

James desperately wanted to stay with Easts. He grew up a Roosters supporter and, as a kid from his early teens when he arrived in this country, used to walk around the eastern suburbs decked out in his Roosters-issued training gear.

As I understand it, however, despite him being officially a Paddo Junior, the club punted him.

Not sure if this bad decision was before or after Peter O arriving at the joint.

The guy is a kiwi junior who the Roosters poached & brought him came to Australia at 15 & he played for the Paddo Tigers, that to me is not a Easts junior. Tommy is the only Easts junior.
