A number of forced changes this week with Teddy & Lindsay out for Origin.

Maybe that helps as I don't want to see Joey in the #6 again. Being forced to start Sandon may be a blessing and we can leverage a positive performance for the remainder of the season.

Frizell is the only out for the Knights.

If we don't win this week, we're farked.

Assume Lodge is dropped? Have not heard anything around injury. Good to see Whyte get a start, ran for another 250m as a prop over the weekend.

It will be good to see Sitilli out on an edge though. He can wreak havoc out there with some early ball.

Agree that this is probs the best we will get so I’m pretty happy with it. Wouldn’t mind seeing Wong get a run soon too. I think Nat will just tackle his arse off in the middle and the metre making will be left to JWH, Whyte & the benchies. I didn’t mind Sitili in the middle but I prefer him on the edge running at halves (I know his defence is iffy there but at this stage, oh well, I’ll cop it).

I haven’t heard anything re Lodge but I honestly thought he has been really ordinary lately (especially his D) anyway so no loss.

I’d like to see Crichton & Egan swap roles as I see Gus as a big edge forward that’s wasted in the middle and Egan as a fast middle forward wasted on the edge. But I may have to wait a few more weeks for this.. progress is progress so I’ll take what I can get.

Do you reckon Lodge has been dropped for pretty much just going through the motions and breaking the world record for most errors in 10 minutes?

I guess Lodge could of got injured at training, but it appears he's definitely been dropped. The medical update after the Panthers game said no injury concerns. I suspect that there is an issue with him, which may be contributing to team disharmony and the decision to move him on.

I'm very happy to see Whyte start this week. Played nearly 70 min and racked up huge numbers in his last game, including over 100 PCM.

Hit ups aren’t his strength. I see him more as tackle bot and filling gaps, like Friendy back in the day who acted as our glue in D.
