*WARNING - A POST FOLLOWS THAT PRAISES BRIAN SMITH - PROCEED AT OWN RISK*

While I am down on Brian Smith as a coach and shant stop ripping till I do get buckled, I think he is a good man manager. Perhaps that is his role, as football/player manager (not as in the one who makes deals) to provide pastoral care to the footballers, like B.J., that will be being coached by Daniel Anderson (hopefully) next year.

I could be talking through my fundamental orifice and will accept constructive criticism.

John, you can't be a good man manager if the players don't like you.

Funny how the majority have re-signed in the past 2 years to continue to play under him.
The players we have let go were all dirty about it as well.
A very funy way of showing dislike!

The reality is that the club would not already be looking for a replacement if he's well liked.

We also don't know the terms under which players have stayed

BJ will be a good signing once Smith leaves the club. I think he heard Smith was leaving and that is why he signed the contract. he will move into the forward rotation next year. guerra is likely to move on.

I remember Sa's first game he exploded out of the blocks, it was against the dragons. His first touch he palmed off Bailey and went in for a try that was disallowed. He could have been anything but was poorly managed along with a poor attitude.

                      Great news.

HOWEVER...... I fear for this kids future under Smith. I don't want to come off as a anti-smith supporter, but honestly this kid is being wasted in the centres. He is slow, and not a centre.

He needs to bulk up, and move to lock/backrow where he can fend players and offload. That's where he belongs.

But still great news for our club.

Creagh also started on the wing.

BJ is not big enough to play in the forwards yet so if he is to be in the team, his best spot is probably at centre. He is still only 20 and in his third year of NRL. He was probably thrown in the deep end too early in his career. But he really needs to start bulking up because he shouldn't be in our back line next year.

                            Crap news......
                            Too many errors
Liked what i saw last year but now him and especially that idiot J Carney are stuffing our backline.
We must recruit. Our juniors won't develop under Smith and we'll have to wait one more year for bellyache.
Maybe an English coach will do, Brian McDermott?

I must be the only one here that thinks Carney has been playing alright.

Do you carrnts watch the games or do you just get on and read match reports?

I know what it is, alot on here are farrken sheepish and just go with the chookpen flow.

If you're a fair dinkum chooks supporter i sorta have some unconditional love for you, but farrk me some of you carrnts need to get a clue and stop hitchin' rides on all the passing bandwagons.
