Thanks mate, wasn't so much doubting Ghost just seen a million threads like this never eventuate.

A 2 year extension sounds right to me, needs to really come along now.

Congrats to the easts on finally making some positive decisions. With Anasta gone , maloney here next year, and retaining the youth, in two years max we will be in a grandfinal. Better book the tickets from now...

For those of you saying BJ is no good, you guys have no idea. City-Country yesterday was evidence this kid has the talent, and can shine as long as he is getting good service. The poor kid is outside Anasta and gets shit thrown at him by a monkey so finds it hard to excel.

Next year with Maloney in the half and hopefully later this year if Mortimer makes the starting side, we will see BJ shine from the centre position. I highly doubt they will put him in 2nd row, considering the number of 2nd row options we have and those that are better than him.

In regards to Smith. I am certainly no fan, but I am pretty sure the club has an idea of if they are keeping him or not after next year, which is probably why all these youngsters are signing till 2014. Personally I think they need to get rid of him end of this year, bring in JT for 1 year next year and then bring Bellyache in for 2014 and make JT his assistant. JT would have all the info on our up and comers, and Bellyache can hopefully coach them to greatness.

Its either that or the club knows they want to keep Smith and have told the players what the future of the coach is and that they are hoping to extend Smithys contract and the players are happy with it.

But in regards to Leilua, his career is just starting, watch him take off the next couple of years. We got a great bunch of youngsters at this club, the future looks awesome. We just need to make sure we hang on to them, and I have faith in POS doing that. He is not going to bring them all here only to let them go again just before they reach their peak.

If we have to keep BJ i wouldput him on the wing when we have Moga why waste his talent thats the problem with Smith wastes talent.

Moga is not ready for first grade and BJ is not ready for the backrow. Centre is his best spot for now. He did a pretty decent job yesterday with good ball and speed on his outside.

                            That's right.

Moga isn't ready yet but he will get his chance, he isn't going anywhere. BJ will end up in the backrow in time but he is doing a good for us at centre.

I would have no problem blooding Moga on the wing outside of BJ when he is ready.

Well if you watched the game yesterday, you should be very happy indeed, BJ & Jnr Jnr were City's best backs by a country mile, btw I really thought Hayne went missing, he's half the player he used to be & not a 5/8th's A hole!! I'd reunite Todd & Mitch for SOO, although I wouldn't mind Mitch at 7 & Mullen at 6, I think Mullen is probably more suited than Todd to the toughness required for SOO.

Yeah I am inclined to agree.
While Carney can turn a game on its ear, SOO is another level altogether.
And also agree about Hayne. Has the guy lost his mojo, or what? Very ordinary.
