His foot did not go out. It was close but certainly not out. Players on the field know when someone's foot has gone out and no one appealed to the touchie about it. But i agree, Channel 9 is overall pretty average. In particular the commentating is abysmal. Always the same sh!t about Nightingale and Vatuvei! Get some new material boys, makes the mute button very tempting.

It's unfair criticising SKD for his defense last night.

The one time he got caught out was on the back of a blindingly astute movement where decoys were coming from everywhere, the attack was set very deep and the pill was in the hands of the greatest players in the game.

Credit to the attack on that one - I doubt many would have prevented that try.

With all due respect, if you go back and watch the game again you will see that SKD got caught out a lot more than one time (but luckily for him only one directly led to a try).

His problem is that he is defensively clueless. When the attack come to him he either slides with his back to the attackers or he comes racing in, doesn't take anybody and creates a massive overlap, or gets caught flat footed and then doesn't have the pace to recover. Perrett is exactly the same, which is pretty scary given that they have about 240 FG games between them and they defend on the same side of the field.

Look at how many tries get scored against the Roosters down SKD and Perrett's side, other teams know to target these guys as defend like headless chooks (pardon the pun).

Yes, ch9 are a disgrace. They moved programes to televise the cricket, so why not the league? What relly got me apart from the delayed telecast was the amount of ads. Even in "live" games ..... disgrace. Put them on before, after and at half time.

I find it really annoying when during the call, Ray Warren will just start reading an ad about an upcoming episode of a Ch9 show. Comes across as really tacky ! ...I'm sure Ray must hate doing it ?

i am a aussie but i do ref and i do like a fair game.
Half way thru the second half australia save an attacking raid on their line. We lose the ball dead and bingo we lost it dead by our salves. Penality for us and a try on the end of that set.

Skids did well and jwh gave away a penality on his first tackle.

Prime would be terrible while the still have the afl. the v8 coverage over the weekend was apalling. if its not afl then it would be second rate.
