No wonder he looks gun shy these days
Agree, cops a lot of flak on here but he hasn’t had much help. Manu in the halves also relieved no pressure for him so looking forward to seeing him play with a natural half.

As I have said many times he needs Gus next to him. Even out of form, he is a big body that knows how to run a line and will attract defenders. He just won a World Cup ffs let’s just see how he goes back in position.

Looks like Wong is playing NSW Cup today so won't be promoted from the 19 man squad named yesterday.

Please be the first to score twice, three times if you like. No 6A on 5th tackle of instead the 10 late in the count. Discipline. Keep them away from the attacking zone with easy yardage and we can win this.

FMD. This is has to be the most negative game day thread in years.

                  Knights 13+

Ponga to curve up our immobile forwards...Gagai, Best & Young to show up our pedestrian backs.

Such is the demise of the once mighty Roosters...

2024 can't come soon enough for this club.

I‘ve just taken my blade of grass behind the posts. I’m hoping not to see the boys close up too many times today.

Let's see what Joey can do from fullback where he can just concentrate on running from around the ruck and I'll be keen to see how Sandon Smith goes controlling the team.
Conditions suit for a fast open game and we desperately need a confidence booster.

Thanks 08. I think I’ll skip the game anyway and check in for updates. Hopefully this brings us better luck!

His 2 quotes below nailed it for me

“Roosters will be ready to go”

“We have belief in our systems, now it’s time to show it”

The Right Honourable Robbo speaks only the language of the snake oil salesman. Even politicians blush when hearing him beat around the bush with his cliched slogans.

How do we suddenly have a "belief in our system" after 56 percent of the season is already gone? I hope that he doesn't coach the team in this mystical manner of word salad slogans.

We will win this game easily and I will feel proud when listening to his guru-speak at the press conference, but that pride will be due to adrenalin, not a dribblin'.

I suspect they might play a little differently today.
The power game that Robinson has been getting them to play hasn’t been effective. Hearing some of the concessions Trent mentioned, I expect to see a change in their style of play.

                              Go Easts!
