  • Coach Stuart - 2013

The jungle drums are beating louder and louder. Word on the grapevine is very strong that Stuart is coming home. The money that would have covered Bennett will be put towards the best coaching team in the business.

How on earth could you get 2013 out of what is in that article. Need to work on your comprehension skils Rusty.

I've been saying on here for a while now that there's a good chance that Stuart will be our next coach.

But one thing I'm sure about - smith will not be coach next year.

I would be over the moon with

        Smith-gone
        Anasta-gone
        Mini-gone

        Stuart-in
        Maloney-in
        SBW-in

And a new fullback, adding to our promising juniors coming through and our future looks rosy again..

Now this item is not designed to unsettle Brian Smith, nor is he on the outer with management, but be sure that Stuart's name is being pushed to management. Smith is doing a good job bringing a very young and inexperienced squad together and it appears they have a roster that will be strong in seasons to come. A coach like Stuart could benefit from the groundwork that Smith is laying down.

Good to see the acknowledgment for Smithy and that he is sweet with Management. I would prefer Stuart than one of the News Limited stooges in the future but I think Smithy has a while to go with Easts yet.

Yep, Weidler may or may not be right (he often isn't) but Weidler points out that Smith is doing what he is being paid to do - re-build the foundations.

Doesn't matter who our next coach is, it will end up the same way. He'll be the world's greatest coach when we win and when we don't he'll be a ridiculous choice and 'the worst coach in the NRL'. Seems to be the way things work here
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

Think revolutionary. That is the direction in which our coaching is headed. No longer will the blame fall on one man to be served up like a fruit platter to the media and fans. The concept of the new era coaching team will blow you all away.

                      NFL style?

                      Head Coach
                      Defensive Coordinator
                      Offensive Coordinator

In a sense but NFL is not the model. Within 12 months other clubs will be imitating us.

It would definitely improve our penalty count, not to mention that drunkard tabloid journo couldn't stab us anymore with his lies.

                            I'd welcome the angry prick.

We need a bit of steel.

And that lunatic has it in spades.

I don't like him, but I think he's just what we need.
