Apparently he's matured, now he's learnt to deal with his child's affliction and all the inherent pressures regarding it.

I'm reserving judgment. He did train this club to it's only premiership in living memory.

If Todd was here too...I salivate at the thoughts of a Ricky Stuart trained Roosters with Carney and Maloney in the halves.

If you watched the game yesterday all doubts should be removed about Pearcey being one of the best young halves in the comp, Pearcey is our future, Maloney should compliment him nicely, I'm more concerned about who our No.9 should be, Ant Mitchell should be promoted to starting hooker to play for 60 - 70 mins a game depending on how the game's going, I fear Jake has already been burnt out!

As for smith, he does have a good footy brain but the main problem with him is that in the end, he ends up annoying the players too much. When a coach loses the dressing room, there is only 1 winner.

Agree about the dressing room stuff, but do we really know if it's the case here and now??? Not saying it's not true, and if it is it's time to go of course. But I don't really see it ATM. And of course I don't have any inside info so I'm relying on those that claim to know.

BTW most coaches lose the players in the end, that's the nature of the business generally. Even Big Jack always said 3-4 yrs is enough at any club.

I am amazed at how many new posters have joined in the last couple of weeks that know what the secret clubs plans are or what has been in their plans over the last couple of years.

As an experiment, can one of the admins ban the ip address of say Mr Walker or the Lemon for a week and see how many of these new guys disappear.

the top coached like bennett, hasler, bellamy dont. Thats one of the reasons why we need to do everything possible to get bellamy. But knowing our club, we will probably settle for sticky.

We also finished in the top 6 in 2001 we had no reason to sack him but I guess we had to with the disharmony he caused in the club and he nearly made Freddy retire.
